Located on Douglas Street, the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts (RGI), a single space gallery is within this stunning building designed by John Burnet, The gallery features a single-room, street-level layout with large shopfront windows.
By creating the drawings from a measured survey sketch and photographs allowed me to create the initial drawings, and then moving into the modelling, I eliminated the "interpretation gap" that often happens between actual space and modelling. The result? A faster workflow and a model that truly reflects the reality of the space. Understanding the space on a granular level makes for a seamless transition into visualization. No guesswork—just precision.
