With over 30 years of experience in architecture and architectural visualisation, Collabor8 Studio transforms design intent into emotive, photorealistic imagery. We believe exceptional visualisation is about more than technical accuracy—it is the careful balance of composition, light and atmosphere that brings unbuilt spaces to life.

Gordon's career began in 1994 in architectural drafting, where precision and attention to detail formed the foundation of his work. As technology evolved, he embraced 3D modelling and digital visualisation, combining architectural knowledge with emerging tools to communicate designs more effectively.

In 2011, Gordon moved from architectural practice into one of Scotland's leading CG studios, working closely with architects and developers to produce high-quality visualisations. He later became Studio Manager before launching a new studio as Director at Glasgow's Lighthouse, gaining invaluable experience leading creative teams and delivering projects across a wide range of sectors.

Returning briefly to architectural practice in 2015 provided first-hand experience of the industry's transition to BIM and Revit, strengthening his understanding of both architectural production and visual communication.

Inspired by a passion for collaboration and visual storytelling, Gordon founded Collabor8 Studio in 2016. Today, the studio combines architectural expertise with artistic creativity to produce compelling imagery that helps architects, developers and designers communicate their vision with confidence.

From planning applications and design development to marketing and sales, every image is created with one goal: to tell the story of a project in the clearest, most engaging way possible.
