How much does architectural CGI cost?

Every project is different, so we base our fee on the time required to produce the final images. Costs vary depending on several factors, including the amount and quality of the design information provided, the complexity of the project, the number of views required, and how much design development is needed before visualisation can begin.

We provide a clear quotation for every project, so you'll always know exactly what is included before work starts.

How long does a CGI take?

For a straightforward project, we typically allow around four working days per image. However, the overall delivery programme is often one to two weeks, depending on the complexity of the project, client feedback, and the stage of the design process.

What is the difference between planning CGI and marketing CGI?

Although we pride ourselves on producing accurate visualisations for every project, planning CGI and marketing CGI are created for different purposes.

Planning CGI is designed to accurately demonstrate how a proposed development will sit within its real environment. Accuracy is critical, with particular attention paid to camera position, scale, massing and the relationship between the proposal and its surroundings.

Marketing CGI, while still based on the approved design, is created to showcase the development in the best possible light. There is greater creative freedom with lighting, atmosphere, landscaping and styling to help communicate the vision of the project and support sales and marketing.

Do you work from Revit, SketchUp or DWG files?

Absolutely. We regularly work from Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD DWG, IFC files and a range of other industry-standard formats.

We also work on projects where only outline drawings or sketches are available. In these cases, we collaborate closely with architects, designers and clients to develop the proposal before creating the final visualisations.

Can you produce verified planning views?

Yes. We have extensive experience producing verified views in collaboration with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) practitioners and planning consultants.

Our verified images are prepared to meet the required technical standards for planning submissions. We can also produce enhanced architectural visualisations based on the same verified viewpoints, maintaining technical accuracy while introducing realistic lighting, materials and landscaping for presentations and public consultation.

Do you work throughout the UK?

Yes. We work with architects, developers, planners and designers throughout the United Kingdom.
